My research

I do not know how the others think of research. For me, it is a pleasure-giving activity to seek an answer for doubts, and a process to explore my own potential. Both are full of pleasures. I do wish to run faster in the field, however, I know I have limit and I am generally feeling good. This is very important, I believe.

My research interests:

cross-cultural communication, linguistics (pragmatics) and language teaching, theories of learning, China-US comparative education, English as L2 teaching and research (in particular the happening of reading and writing and development)
