GXNU Kindergarden (Guilin) £¨¹ãÎ÷ʦ·¶´óѧÓ׶ùÔ°£©
GXNU has two kindergardens, one on the urban campus, the other on the
Sanlidian campus. Since my parents worked and lived on the Sanlidian campus,
I attended the kindergarden there. It was minutes' walk from where we lived
and from where Waiyuxi, the Foreign Languages Department is. So it was
convenient.
I had over one year with Miss Zhang Lan, a wonderful teacher. she taught
me how to read, write, sing, and dance. Another one year and more, I was
with Miss Li, another cool teacher. They all loved me so much and gave
me lots of helps.
My Pre-school year at Yucai Elementary (Guilin) £¨¹ðÁÖÊÐÓý²Å·Сѧѧǰ°à£©
In 1993, I entered Yucai Elementary's preschool, and was enrolled in Class One. Miss Zhou Yan was my teacher. She was a rather strict teacher, but she made me the head of the class, and I was to help her control the class. I learned a lot there, in language and handcraft work. At the end of the class, I had a photo with Miss Zhou who was so shy that she invited a few other of my classmates to be in the picture. I still have that picture today. it is a great gift of that year.
My 5 years at Yucai Elementary (Guilin) £¨¹ðÁÖÊÐÓý²Å·Сѧ£©
In Fall, 1994, I became the first year pupil at Yucai elementary. It
is one of the best schools in the city. I was lucky. Miss Gu Li was my
teacher till the 3rd year. I learned a lot under the help of Miss Gu, and
I was the monitor since the beginning.
In the 4th year, we had a merger with other classes. Unfortunately
Miss Gu was not following us up. A teacher named Wen was assigned to teach
my class. She was a too experienced with the upper graders to teach us
who were at a lower level and needed more understanding. After two or three
months, all my classmates became impatient with Mrs. Wen, and I, as the
monitor, was often disliked. Wen thought I was not working to help her.
The school noticed this and replaced Wen with Mrs Li, a perfect teacher.
But she left after another month. We were really unfortunate. Then, Miss
Meng and Miss Lan, two cool teachers came to save the class. I was greatly
appreciated in both study and work. Besides, I became somewhat a friend
of the teachers. I enjoyed those days., and I miss all the teachers I left
them behind: Miss Meng, Mrs Lan, and Mr. Liang.
My 5th Grade at Jefferson Elementary (Winston-Salem, NC) £¨ÎÂ˹¶ÙÈøÀÕÄ·Êнܸ¥Ñ·Ð¡Ñ§£©
My father was invited to teach at Wake Forest University beginning in
August, 1998. I joined him with my mother in November. I entered Jefferson
Elementary in January, 1999. This is the coolest school in the region.
I like it so much. I had subjects such as Math, Communication Skills, Science,
ESL. I had a great time with my teachers and new friends. I have included
three homework assigned to me by my teachers. I love to remember them by
these.

My 6th Grade at Jefferson Middle School (Winston-Salem, NC) £¨ÎÂ˹¶ÙÈøÀÕÄ·Êнܸ¥Ñ·ÖÐѧ£©
After graduating from Jefferson Elementary, I became all familiar with
the surroundings of the school. When I was asked to choose from among the
three middle schools in the Western Zone of Winston-Salem, I chose Jefferson
Middle School. My father and mother both respected my choice. And we were
right. I was assigned to Mrs Pfaff's team and both Mrs Pfaff and Mrs C
(Carespodi) taught us. This is a great time to learn. I felt my progress
under the helps of the two great teachers. See some
of my homework and you will see I really had some training in this
first year at Jefferson Middle School.
